The TimeLine of American Race Relations draw on the culture of groups, underrepresented in traditional texts and curriculum. The TimeLine of American Race Relations™ tells the story of all people of color in America from 1500 to present. By employing cultural referents of these groups, the TimeLines are a powerful tool to inspire all children- a critical step in motivating students to improve their performance. It traces the history of Native Americans, Latinos, African Americans, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders from the time of the arrival of the first European explorers to the present day.
We see people of color in the fields of politics, art, music, education, religion, business, science, poetry, medicine, technology and more, as they help America to realize its promise of freedom and diversity. The TimeLine of American Race Relations should be in every workplace and school in America.
