BBC Science Simulations 3

BBC Science Simulations 3 was designed to enhance science investigation skills for upper elementary students.  Virtual experiments exploring varying topics such as plant growth and electrical circuits allow teachers and students to experience a wide range of phenomena in ways and at speeds that would be difficult to achieve in the classroom.

The "Questions" portion of the software includes ideas for exploration.  Students can manipulate a variety of variables and instantly observe their effects.    Students can access graphs and tables to clarify the results which provides a focus for interpretation and scientific explanation.  Students can make direct comparisons by viewing two investigations simultaneously using the multi-simulation feature.
