Speedway is an exciting and fast-paced environment where children can discover a wide variety of highly motivating math activities. It is a non-linear, non-hierarchical program, and children are free to start or leave any of the activities at any time.

Each of the 16 activities requires the student to use specific math and problem solving skills.

Speedway builds on these essential math skills, taught in grades 2-4:

• Number facts
• Multiplication
• Recognizing patterns in graphs and tables
• Place value
• Ordinal Numbers
• Measuring perimeter, mass and temperature
• Probability experiments
• Two and three dimensional geometry
